<td><p class="attrtext"><strong>A 30-minute walk</strong> reaches the sea, where more restaurants, bars and a promenade overlook the waves. You can then walk further, along the coast, to sandy beaches; just follow the promenade or, in the opposite direction, a rocky track leads to a secluded palm-fringed cove.</p></td>

<td><p class="attrtext"><strong>Within a 10 minute drive </strong>you will find several fine sandy beaches plus more bars, restaurants, shops and a hypermarket. <td><p class="attrtext"><strong>Torrevieja</strong> is a lively harbour town with an interesting history and 8 miles of seafront, with several promenades, beaches (most awarded the Blue Flag), a marina (with hundreds of fishing boats and private yachts), a sailing school and two diving centres. It also backs onto two large picturesque lakes, protected by a nature reserve, with 250 bird species, and great for walking or cycling around - you can hire bikes in town.</p></td>

<td><p class="attrtext"><strong>There's plenty to do and see</strong> as various parks, squares, historical monuments, churches and museums join nightclubs, bars, shops and restaurants to compete for your attention. Another street market is held weekly, as are several colourful festivals, throughout the year. As well as a <a href="http://www.aquopolis.es/torrevieja/mapa/" target="_blank">water funpark</a>, there is an olympic swimming pool, sports/gymnasium complex and 5 golf courses to choose from.</p></td>
